Losers

... are the life force of the theatre. From the very first moment they are the real heroes of the story:
From Sophokles Antigone, to Shakespeares Desdemona and Julia, Goethes Faust, Brechts Mother Courage and Mackie Messer, or Beckets Wladimir and Estragon, they all combine their failure of life, their dreams and the attempt of self illusion. The climax of all those are clowns who live their philosophy of being a loser.
A human is just a whole human if he failures, this could be an interpretation of a Schiller quotation. If male or female, losers are the most important figures of the theatre. It seems like their failure is a copy of daily life, even more a reflection of our self. Tragedy of life is transforming into an example, a parable and even into comedy on stage. Just because of and through those losers theatre is able to live. Therefore its definitive time that one of the biggest European amateur theatre festivals dedicates itself those characters, without those theatre would not exist.
We invite children, youth, school and amateur theatre groups from all over Europe to the Theatre Days on the Lake Constance.

Eine kurze Bilanz
Insgtesamt waren die Theatertage 2008 schlanker und brachten für die Organisatoren ein wenig Erholung gegenüber den grandiosen Rekordtagen von 2007.
2500 Zuschauer sahen die 17 Vorstellungen. 18 Wochenendkurse fanden statt mit 270 Teilnehmern. 42 Projekte fanden in den Schulen statt, wo etwa 1000 Schüler daran teilnahmen.
Radio Seefunk Theaterpreise verliehen
Zum Abschluss der 24. Theatertage am See wurden die RADIO SEEFUNK THEATERPRESE verliehen. In zwei hochrangig besetzten Jurorengruppen mit Vertreter von Schulbehörden, Theaterverbänden, Regisseuren und Schauspielern wurden zwei Preiskategorien vergeben:
Sparte Schul- und Jugendtheater
SpinaTheater Solingen Money, money, money

Sparte Amateuertheater
Zu gleichen Teilen an:
